And I fell in love with this Nonprofit Organization that accepts donations !!!!

WHAT IS LOCKS OF LOVE?

Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to return a sense of self, confidence and normalcy to children suffering from hair loss by utilizing donated ponytails to provide the highest quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged children. The children receive hair prostheses free of charge or on a sliding scale, based on financial need.

HOW TO DONATE

• 10 inches measured tip to tip is the minimum length needed for a hairpiece.
• Hair must be in a ponytail or braid before it is cut.
• Hair must be clean and completely dry before it is mailed in.
• Place the ponytail or braid inside of a plastic bag, and then inside of a padded envelope.
• If you wish to receive our personalized thank-you card, please fill out the hair donation form, or write your name and address on a full size separate sheet of paper and include inside the envelope. That's Right !!!!! All of my Hair is Off !!!!

The Back is so easy to do, I just have to blow dry it forward and it automatically goes down like that when I brush it out.

The front part, I just blow dry it with a round brush forward and straiten it around my face.

It's Pretty Easy to do !!!!

I just Love how short it is. I love to style it also.

The main reason why I wanted to cut my hair so bad was because it had no style to it. I always had it in a pony tail, and I was getting sick of the same old look !!!!

Everyone so far loves it also. They all have that shocked look on their faces when they see all my hair gone, but they love it short !!!!

Well the weather is getting really hot around here, so having short hair will be nice.

Plus my hair grows back so fast like a weed, by winter it will be half way grown out.

My Six Flags Adventure Birthday Party !!!!!!

Before I get into Six Flags, here is what we did for my birthday dinner:

Osakas Hibachi Grill

A Hibachi Grill is like Bennihana's, you sit down at a table with a cook top and they cook all your food in front of you.

Our Chef actually knew my brother and I think he was picking on us a little bit more and just having fun with us.

The our Chef "Sky" was amazing, I kept on telling him I wish I could Chop,  Dice, and Fry like that !!!

At one point he surprised me with a Sauce Jar. He asked if I wanted a taste and then pretended to squirt me with a fake one. It was a good laugh.

Then he busted out the throwing the food into your mouth routine !!!!

Mel was too funny !!!!

ON the Floor !!!!

I really wanted to participate except they were throwing Shrimp, and I hate Shrimp !!!! YUCK !!!!

Then the fun part was using Chop Sticks for the whole meal !!!! I have no idea how to use Chop Sticks.

And I refused to ask for some silverware !!!! I didn't want to offend any one !!!!

Let's just say it took us a good hour to eat !!!! Thank goodness Amber didn't know how to use them either and we both were flinging food around !!!!

Then Mel Bought me tons of gifts. My Gift I gave her did not arrive to her house yet, so I felt bad for not having something to give her on her birthday.

We finally got home went to bed and WOKE up at 4:15 AM to get ready for Six Flags

Six Flags was really busy  ( Of Course ).The lines were pretty long. There was a ride we really wanted to ride called the Tazo, but the waiting time was 2 1/2 hrs. We decided to skip it for another day !!!!

I hated that ride !!!! It's just the feeling of looking strait down while being hoisted up and dropping with extreme speed then being spun around and looped around and repeating it over in reverse !!!!

Then we played this game while waiting in line:

You make that sign when talking and if someone looks at it you get hit by the person making the sign.

Let's Say I was really bad and looked every time and got punched so many times on my arm that I have a Bruise.

The only bad part about this game was Jared who is only 11 thought it was really fun, ( but annoying after and hour) started putting it up to our eye ball or other annoying ways of doing it. So we made a rule and said you had to do it below the hip if you were just putting it up with out a story, and a Truce after 15 min.

After Lunch the Lines were outrageous !!!! There was tons of people and I was getting Tired !!!

Brandon, Ryan, Mel and I decided to go home at 4:30

Amber, Christina, Jared and Justin wanted to stay until closing ( 10 pm ) CRAZY !!!

It took us 4 1/2 hours getting home, because Brandon is the SLOWEST driver in the WORLD !!!!!

I so wanted to make him pull over and let me drive but I have no idea how to drive stick

 We got home at 9:00 or so and I crashed at my mom's because my Plane was taking off at 6:45 AM !!!!

The only bad part was I left all my Luggage at Amber's House ( I should of Brought it with me )

Around 1:45 AM there was a phone call at my mom's house, It was Amber !!!! Her brand new 2008 Nissan Truck Broke Down Right before State Line. SUCK !!!!!

My Dad had to Drive an hour to pick them up, My mom and I were thinking of ways to get into her house so I could get my Luggage, and Call a Tow Truck !!!!

They all arrived around 4 AM !!!!

I got to Amber's House and to the Airport with an Hour to Spare !!!! Thank Goodness.

ON the way back home on the Airplane was NICE !!!!

I got a  WHOLE row by myself. So I took a really good Nap !!!! I didn't even notice Take OFF that's how tired I was.

I was so tired from the Trip that I decided to Skip Church and Sleep the rest of the Day !!!!

It felt good !!!! I'm not the type of person who can live on 3 hours of sleep, I need atleast 8 hours plus a nap during the Day !!!! ( I'm not Lazy Just need my sleep )

Then Sunday Afternoon ( I think ) Lee and the boys made me a Birthday Cake and Taco's for my Birthday Dinner !!!!

( Taco's are a Birthday Tradition in my family for dinner )

Over all my Birthday was so Worth it !!!!

29 isn't as bad as I thought it would be ( So Far ) !!!!

HERE IS THE STORY:

MY FRIEND SARAH FROM VEGAS CALLED ME TO WISH ME A HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AND MY BOYS WERE SCREAMING AND ACTING CRAZY ( LIKE THEY ALWAYS DO WHEN I GET ON THE PHONE). SO WHAT DOES EVERY MOM DO WHEN KIDS ARE SCREAMING AND YOU CAN'T HEAR THE OTHER PERSON ON THE PHONE,  THEY RUN TO THERE ROOM AND LOCK THE DOOR UNTIL YOUR CONVERSATION ON THE PHONE IS DONE. ( WELL THIS IS WHAT I DO )

HERE IS WHEN THE STORY BECOMES A SURPRISE !!!!!

WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH MY FRIEND, MY FRIEND KRISTA AND HER FAMILY CAME TO THE HOUSE AND KNOCKED AT THE DOOR. WELL CADEN WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE HIS FRIEND KOBE HE OPENED THE DOOR AND WAS TALKING WITH THEM. WELL I HAD NO IDEA THEY WERE AT MY HOUSE BECAUSE REMEMBER  I LOCKED MYSELF IN THE ROOM. WHEN I GOT OFF THE PHONE THE HOUSE WAS SILENT. OH CRAP, WERE ARE THE BOYS ???? THEY ARE TOO QUITE WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE THEY GETTING INTO. I WALKED INTO THE FAMILY ROOM, AND FOR SOME ODD REASON I LOOKED AT THE DOOR AND SAW THE DOOR WAS UNLOCKED.

CRAP !!!!! THEY ARE OUTSIDE AND PROBABLY RUNNING DOWN THE STREET !!!!

I RAN TO THE DOOR, AND YELLED BEFORE THE DOOR WAS OPEN " CADEN" AND OPENED THE DOOR AND SAW KRISTA,DAVID,KOBE,DEVIN,CADEN AND MASON ( WHO IS JUST IN HIS DIAPER) STARING AT ME !!!!

DAVID THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK !!!!

KRISTA WAS HOPPING I WAS DECENT AND NOT COMING STRAIT OUT OF THE SHOWER !!!!

MY BOYS WERE LAUGHING BECAUSE I CAME RUNNING OUT LIKE A CRAZY WOMEN !!!

AND KOBE AND DEVIN JUST LOOKED AT ME AND SAID HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!

THEN KRISTA HAD A PLATE OF BROWNIES AND CANDLES AND SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME !!!!

THIS WAS THE BEST SURPRISE PARTY I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE !!!!

OH AND I FORGOT I HAD MY PAJAMAS ON WITH MY TANK TOP WITH G'S HANGING OUT !!!!

THANK GOODNESS I HAD MY MAKEUP ON !!!!!

Willow Tree Nativity Set

I've always wanted this set !!!! Months of begging for it during Christmas time and I got it for my Birthday !!!!

And since it's such a AWESOME Set I placed it above the TV Unit, so I can enjoy it all year long !!!!

At first it was going to be my sister Amber, Mel and I, but then the word got out and now my brother's Brandon and Justin are going too, It will be so much funnnnnn!!!!!
